IO table checking against ABS publications
Dear All, I downloaded both states/territories and national IO table from IElab in time series. Then, I compared with national IO table and national states account (from the perspective of GSP). 1. The numbers compiled through IElab seem to be quite low. 2. Also there are large amount of negative values (small) in the USE matrix. Many values = 0.000000000099 by default zero but should be different levels of small not “zero” 3. At the state level, there are zero rows for Residential Buildings Construction and Non-Residential Buildings Construction. 4. Use WA's IO table as a showcase, the totals and overall outputs look small approx. $165.7bn (smaller than reference years in ABS State Accounts) compared to $249.5bn Really keen to understand the IO table structure from IElab. I feel I might look into the wrong part of IO table. Please help me through. Thanks heaps. My email is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
